Our Story
Individuals For Development Of India (INDIA) was born in 2015 from a simple yet powerful belief — that the destiny of a nation is shaped not just by governments or corporations, but by its individual citizens.
Inspired by the life and philosophy of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam — who rose from humble beginnings to become the Missile Man and People's President of India — INDIA believes that every citizen carries within them the potential to transform lives and build a better nation.
Today, INDIA operates across 18 states, engaging 8,500+ volunteers, running 240+ programs, and having directly impacted 1,25,000+ lives across education, skill development, women empowerment, food security, legal aid, and more.
